I’m popping my head in here one last time this year to tell you about a podcast episode I recently recorded with my friend John of the Jobsworth podcast.
You may remember John interviewed my husband and me about our nomadic lifestyle a few months back. He got in touch with me after the show went out to say not only did this episode have the biggest listening numbers of any he’s released thus far, but he also had many people asking to hear more about minimalism.
So we recorded another show.
If you’ve got a spare 30 minutes and would like to hear me babbling on about minimalism — how I adopted it in my own life, its challenges, and advantages — I’d love you to give it a listen.
Enjoy friends!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to rest, recuperate, and enjoy the last of what 2023 has to offer. I hope you get the chance to do the same.
Much love,
Charlie
I'm not much of a podcast watcher; I prefer to read an article, or read a transcript of an interview or podcast, if available.
I was watching a tiny house YouTube last night (yeah, I binge on them!) and the tiny dweller used a term that I think could really help replace the now nigh-meaningless or overused, misunderstood term "minimalism"...
"Essentialism".
I think that helps get the point across in a more meaningful way, since everyone has their own idea of what they might consider "essential", in more or less degrees, but it helps explain the intentionality behind it, as well.
Just some food for thought. Or eggnog for thought!
